The atmosphere and ambience was really wonderful and we had a lovely table with plenty of space between us and other diners. I would also like to give a special mention to Eimear, who when I accidentally rang the Brasserie instead of the Hotel we were staying in, looking for a recommendation for a hairdresser, promptly gave me her own hairdressers contact details. So not only can you phone and get a dinner reservation, but you can get recommendations for hairdressers too!!! Thank you Eimear for "going above and beyond" the normal call of duty. I cannot wait for my next visit to Galway, when we will definitely be returning.

The food was lovely, the choice on the pre-theatre menu was excellent and the birthday cake was a lovely addition. The atmosphere was great. We didn’t know what to expect and all 11 of us agree it was very pleasant.

Thank you to all your staff who whilst they were all very busy on Saturday, we never felt that we were not being attended to. Each member of staff hasd a welcoming smile, always asked how we were getting on after they served us and added to the atmosphere with their jovial conversation.

We booked a couple weeks in advance as with it being Christmas week we new it would be hard sourced . Emer who took the booking was a pleasure to deal with and explain the protocols and time limit we had , our friends also booked and they had the same thing to say . While we couldn’t sit together Emer was happy to place them close to us while maintaining a safe distance.
Food was incredible that night the steaks top class , cauliflower curry full of flavour and the brownie for desert really ended the meal on a high. Even our friends on the next table couldn’t fault a thing so much so they rebooked the next day again for an early sitting . We were served by the wonderful Aoife H that night who couldn’t be more helpful when explaining the menu wine and serving us through the evening. Even with the uncertainty and announcement of a third lockdown she was extremely professional and didn’t let the news impact her service . She also served our friends again the next day and was still as friendly as ever .
Our friends have found a new favourite in Galway and no doubt will be all back when we can.

The service should be applauded and management and the team should be proud, they are very attentive and check on you through out your meal and are so friendly. The manager who has been there for a long time runs a tight ship and it is clear when there is not a single thing you could or should fault this restaurant on.
The food then also is fantastic- we all ordered three Fillet Steaks, mine was a little more pink to what I would like- No fault of the kitchen but of me because I am only learning to be brave enough to not order a steak that is not well done- they brought it back for me and cooked it a little more- out of this world- chips delicious and a fabulous selection of sauces to choose from.
Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable meal and we will be back again soon to treat ourselves to a nice dinner.

The staff were extremely attentive without being intrusive, serving bread as an appetiser and bringing more drinks as required.
For two adult Sunday roasts (shared with a hungry toddler!) plus Guinnesses, the bill came to just less than €50.

However, the highlight of the evening was the surprise Irish Coffee demonstration put on by Ulick. Ulick was absolutely fantastic as he told the history of the Irish Coffee and showed us how to make them. Very informative and entertaining. Not to mention the best Irish Coffee we ever had! If you get the chance, don't pass up a visit to this great establishment.

  I have been eating in this restaurant for years with my family’s as I am from Galway and I have never been disappointed. Great food and great staff.

Irish Coffees and a drink after were well accommodated during these trying times.
